Heard the road to Myrtos will be blocked at Divarata upto (and including?) Sunday, 14 June to enable essential works. Applies to vehicles and pedestrians.
Heard the work has been completed and the road opened sometime yesterday.

Five kids aged 14-15 arrested yesterday for nicking 'motorbikes' in Argosoli over the past few days.
Also heard that a 17 year old has been transferred to hospital in Patras with a broken leg following a motorcycle accident in Lassi earlier today.

Local coast yesterday performed an emergency transfer from PisoAetos to Sami of a 70 y-o local in need of urgent medical attention and a 48 y-o from Vathy to Sami for the same reason. On Thursday a 73 y-o passenger was transferred from the Norwegian Jade, in Argostoli bay, to Argostoli hospital.

House fire on Γεωργίου Ιακωβάτου street, Argostoli, this morning. Local fire service attended promptly and extinguished the flames. Thought to have been caused by faulty wiring in the boiler room.
*Haven't got the full gist of this* but sounds like there's a bit of huff and puff about the museum in Davgata, the lack of interest in it and a plan to move it to the Thalassomylos building at Katovothres.

Yep, went once, it was closed. Looked to be a very small building with not a great deal in it. Wonder if it was originally a 'job for the boys (who voted for me)' set up :dunno:
