How to spot a fake review

*    Do not rely on ratings - delve deeper and read the reviews
*    Check the dates - look at when the reviews were posted. If many of them were posted in a short time period, it might mean there has been a push for reviews on Facebook groups or other platforms
*    Impartial reviews - click on some reviewers and check their history. Do they give everything five stars?
*    Pattern of ratings - are the ratings at different ends of the scale with very little in between? It is rare that people are completely polarised about a product

Alex Neill, Which? managing director of home products and services, said the sellers were effectively "ripping people off" with paid-for reviews.

Facebook fake review factories uncovered by Which? investigation
Firms paying refunds to buyers who write five-star reviews on Amazon, consumer group says

Fake review factories that run on Facebook and manufacture misleading five-star reviews that are then posted on Amazon have been uncovered by investigators from Which?

The consumer group said two large Facebook groups – Amazon Deals Group and Amazon UK Reviewers – were behind the unscrupulous practice, along with smaller groups. Together they may have up to 87,000 members potentially engaged in writing fake reviews.

Inside the Facebook groups, companies post details of products for which they are seeking positive reviews. The reviewers have to pay for the items – so that Amazon believes the buyer is genuine – but after leaving a glowing review, the company refunds the purchase price through PayPal, and sometimes pays an additional fee.

Greek Oxygen in a can is the new “must have” souvenir from Greece

Wondering what unique souvenir you can take back home to your family and friends after a getaway to Greece? Forget your standard magnets, keyrings, and postcards, now you can take home some Greek oxygen in a can!

No joke, Greek Oxygen is conveniently packed in a can so now you can take some Greek air with you everywhere you go.

The company launched the product in June of 2016 and the concept behind it, according to the Greek Oxygen team was to create a souvenir that contained the blue of the sea and the sky, the culture and history of Greece.

Retailing at 3.50 euros per can, and mostly selling through their online store, they have also started a campaign with hotels, resorts and cruise ships and the product is now available in Crete, Rhodes, Santorini, Kefalonia, and many more islands.

British Airways has revealed the latest additions to its expanding network of Mediterranean destinations from Heathrow.

Preveza in northwest Greece gets flights on Wednesday and Sundays from 26 May to 29 September.

Preveza is on the Greek mainland, southeast of Corfu and northwest of Kefalonia. It provides easy access to the island of Lefkada.

Fares on British Airways from Heathrow are generally higher than from other London hubs, reflecting the high airport charges, but initially the prices are lower than the competitors.

UK weather forecast: Temperatures set to plunge below zero as warmth gives way to frosty mornings

Frost and freezing temperatures are expected to hit parts of the UK as a spell of colder weather begins to take hold this week.

Northern parts of Britain are likely to see some crisp mornings as autumn starts to set in, while the mercury could drop below zero on Tuesday night into Wednesday in the Scottish Highlands.

It comes after Storm Callum pummelled the country over the weekend, causing severe flooding in Wales and leaving at least three people dead.

At the same time, southern parts of England enjoyed unseasonably warm conditions, which look set to continue in the south east on Tuesday, where some places could see highs of 23C - before potentially falling into single figures at the weekend.

Despite some reports to the contrary, the Met Office said it did not expect snow to fall in the UK during October.
