Title: KATs news
Post by: jeanskala on Wednesday, 06 January, 2016 @ 15:45:38
Hi all,

The KATs charity shop in Skala will re-open on Friday 8th January with amended opening hours. The shop will now open on Tuesday and Fridays at 10:30am - 12:30pm

This Sunday, 10th January, also sees the first Book Sale of 2016. The venue is at Aliti's Bar in Katelios, from 11am until 1-ish. Tea, coffee and bar drinks are available and if the baking fairies aren't too tired after Christmas/New Year, we may get something yummy to eat, as well!

So come and meet up with friends, while browsing for your favourite books.

Jean

Thanks for you good wishes.

Roger is responsible for the Cats of Katelios page, he and Sheila feed/worm/neuter the cats during the winter, hence them looking so healthy. We also have other cat-carers, Tonya & Rebecca, who are doing a sterling job with feeding and monitoring the cats in the Skala area.

Hopefully the KATs/ARK surgery, the building donated by the council in Argostoli and equipped many by donations to KATs, will be up and running soon. We have charity vets queuing to come to Kefalonia to neuter our stray cats and dogs. This will be very welcome for both charities but particularly the ARK dogs, enabling us to neuter more prior to re-homing . Even our local vets are supporting the enterprise and some have offered to give their time and work at the new surgery.

Roll on 2016!

Noticed some new photos on the catsofkatelios Facebook page, thank you. Not a Facebooker so just look to see if any new pictures and bits of news.
The wall gang look well, any photos from around Villa Sophia or Odyssia would be appreciated.
Well done to the winter feeders, we always feed some of the same cats when we visit and it's good to see them looked after during the winter.

Hi Misty. I had four cats at Odyssia yesterday, including a female which has been there for some years now. I will add some pictures to the Facebook page, because I know that many visitors feed them in the summer and want to know how they are doing.

Thank You Roger

We often stay near villa Sophia so know the cats there quite well, especially one eyed white cat with tabby tail.
