RED PALM WEEVIL

To all you gardeners out there - I think my palm tree has the dreaded Red Palm Weevil?  what do i use to get rid of it.

Souvlaki sticks. Apparently they're a delicacy in some places:

Not sure they're too easy to kill off otherwise: control and prevention.
