Migrants die as two boats capsize off Greek island

The Greek coastguard say two boats carrying migrants have capsized in the Aegean Sea.

At least 22 people have drowned and another seven are missing.

Thirty-six survivors have been rescued from the sea and the search is continuing, officials say.

Greece is a major entry point for migrants and refugees trying to reach the European Union. Many cross by sea from Turkey, and accidents are frequent.

Correspondents say there has been a sharp increase in sea-borne refugee traffic over the past year because of stricter controls on the Greek-Turkish land border to the north and the ongoing war in Syria.

The world's largest beverage-maker, Coca-Cola, plans to remove a controversial ingredient from some of its drinks brands by the end of this year, following an online petition.

Brominated vegetable oil, or BVO, is found in Coca-Cola fruit and sports drinks such as Fanta and Powerade.

It will be replaced after concerns an element of the additive is also found in flame retardants.

Rival Pepsi removed the chemical from its Gatorade sports drink last year.

Coca-Cola spokesman Josh Gold stressed the move to remove BVO was not an issue of safety.
