Cyber criminals ‘looking to exploit people’s fears’ over coronavirus

Security experts have warned that criminals are using people’s fears over the coronavirus crisis to target victims online.

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) said “opportunistic” cyber criminals are using the deadly outbreak to launch online attacks.

Clicking on to the links on bogus emails which say they have important updates has led to devices being infected.

These “phishing” attempts can lead to victims being left out of pocket or stripped of sensitive data.

I have an e-scooter myself here, but I certainly wouldn't fancy using one on UK roads.  I used to be a UK cycle-tourist before coming here 35 years ago, and even then cycling was quite a hair-raising experience at times.

Roy Hudd, actor and comic, dies aged 83

Roy Hudd, who hosted BBC Radio 2's The News Huddlines for 26 years and also starred in Coronation Street, has died at the age of 83.

Sirens from fire engines in the last few hours, but definitely no smoke between Mavrata and Thiramona. I suspect it might be somewhere between Mavrata and Katelios.

A £65MILLION superyacht owned by a Saudi prince capsized and partially sunk while it was docked in Greece.

The 230ft Nourah of Riyad, owned by Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al Saud, was being lifted out of the water for repairs when it capsized.

Greek Orthodox Church agrees to suspend daily services, rituals over coronavirus

The Holy Synod, the ruling body of Greece’s Orthodox Church, agreed on Monday to suspend all daily services and rituals for an indefinite period as part of the government’s efforts to contain the spread of the new coronavirus.
