Heard the Greek Civil Aviation Authority has given Fraport the go-ahead for terminal improvements at Kefalonia airport, also Aktio, Hania, Kavala, Mytilene, Rhodes and Zakynthos. Work to start October and take up to four years. Apparently Fraport are seeking compensation as the airports weren't, allegedly, delivered in the same condition as when Fraport bid for them. Among the complaints, and across the fourteen airports Fraport have contracted, they found 12,200 burnt out lamps; 1,287 fire extinguishers in need of replacement; 81 dysfunctional air conditioning units.
