Nothing to do with them being cheaper and not going on strike, of course (see posts above) !  :blink:

Actually it's a non-story.  When you read the article the pigeons are only looking at slides of cells and they have no intention of actually using pigeons for diagnosis.  The headline makes you think that women were going to end up having pigeons pecking all over them!

Looks like this might be a genuine "story" - though I'm not sure how newsworthy it is.  Good job he doesn't live in Penistone or he'd stand no chance!  ;)
