Irinna Hotel in Svoronata is not opening this season. Second big hotel I've heard will remain closed. Lots of jobs not on offer.

#3: White Rocks in Lassi also staying closed for 2020 season.

Patra Waterway Concession Deal Finalized

The port city of Patra is one step closer to getting its own waterway after the finalization of a 12-year concession deal between the city’s port authority and Patra Port Waterway made up of Water Airports SA and Hellenic Seaplanes.

Under the deal, the Patra Port Authority grants Patra Port Waterway the right to operate, manage, and exploit a waterway position on the northern side of the port.

The concessionaire is bound under the deal to offer waterway transport services to passengers and operate seaplanes.

Greece opens its doors to UK tourists – but with strings attached
Visitors have to fill in a detailed form and face random testing

Two weeks after most European tourists were allowed to visit Greece, the country has opened its doors to British holidaymakers.

A Tui flight to Rhodes is due to depart from Gatwick this morning, at the end of a ban on flights from the UK to Greece.

Britain’s biggest holiday company is also planning to restart operations to Corfu, Crete and Kos.

But passengers face increased red tape – and the chance of a random test for coronavirus on arrival.

Every visitor to Greece must apply for a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 24 hours before departure.

British PM’s Father Is Set To Make £17,000 From His Greek Villa This Summer

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s father, Stanley Johnson, is reportedly going to make £17,000 from his Greek villa this summer as it is fully booked until the end of September, the Dailymail reported.

Mr Johnson reportedly rents the property for £2,100 per week during the peak summer season. Pitching the villa, the Real Holidays worker said: “One thing to note about Villa Irene is that the main master bedroom is upstairs with lovely views to the sea, and the other three bedrooms are downstairs and are a bit simpler.”

“There is also only an external staircase to the downstairs bedrooms. The main living room and kitchen are upstairs and there is a lovely balcony which makes most of the view and is a great spot for breakfast. There is also a table downstairs which has an awning so is a good place to have a shaded lunch,” they added.
