Chinese woman offered massage services without issuing receipts

The Greek public services often get a bad wrap about red tape or inherent corruption, and justifiably so in all honesty. But this female tax officer on the island of Rhodes should be nominated for the most conscientious employee of the year award. According to newspaper ‘Rodiaki’, a Chinese woman was spotted on the beach of Tsabikas charging money to beach goers for massages, when a team of police officers and tax officers patrolling the beach and conducting audits spotted her. When the auditors approached her the woman started running to escape. The officials pursued her on the beach but at one point she jumped into the sea. After a police officers failed to convince her to come out of the water, a female tax officer stripped down her bathing suit and entered the water convincing her to come out for an unit for the services she was charging. Eyewitnesses said the woman complied with the tax officer and came out to land without any resistance. Police officers arrested her and she was subsequently fined for violating tax regulations.
