The fugitive girlfriend of convicted terrorist Giorgos Maziotis is thought to be the woman who hired a helicopter on Sunday and threatened the pilot at gunpoint, possibly in an attempt to break her partner out of the capital’s Korydallos Prison.
Vassilis Paleokostas, a serial robber, escaped from Korydallos twice by helicopter.

Egyptian four-year-old's life sentence a mistake, military says
An Egyptian military court made a mistake by sentencing a four-year-old boy to life in prison for murder last week, the military has acknowledged.
His lawyer had submitted documents proving that he was one at the time.

Baby gorilla born at Bristol Zoo Gardens after rare caesarean section
A rare baby gorilla has become the first in the UK to be successfully born after an emergency caesarean – performed by a top gynaecologist.
The remarkable operation was carried out after mother Kera, a critically-endangered Western lowland gorilla, was diagnosed with life-threatening pre-eclampsia.
Tests revealed her baby was becoming unresponsive and keepers at Bristol Zoo called in doctors from the local NHS maternity hospital.

Tourism arrivals and revenues broke all-time records in 2015
Official data released on Monday by the Bank of Greece confirmed that 2015 was an all-time record year for Greek tourism, thanks to the significant contribution of revenues from US and British holidaymakers.
Tourism takings last year amounted to 14.2 billion euros, posting annual growth of 6 percent. Revenues from US tourists registered a massive 44.4 percent year-on-year rise to reach a record 945.6 million euros, while revenues from the British market exceeded 2 billion euros, posting 30.5 percent annual growth. This development came about mainly due to the slide of the euro against the US dollar and the British pound.

Yep, if I were a doctor in the NHS I'd be filling in an application form. Just wishing I'd watched more Holby... and had one of those fake doctors degrees (http://greece.greekreporter.com/2014/01/28/greek-doctor-practicing-medicine-without-degree/) that aren't unknown in Greece

Giz a job! I can do that! I watch Holby every week ... and Casualty!! I know how to aspirate a pneumothorax and everything! Even if I didn't, I can get a step by step guide on You Tube (yes, really)! Maybe I could get away with it... How do I get one of those fake degrees and do they cost a lot? :lol:
