Only 20,000 new cars sold in the UK in May

Demand for new cars fell by around 90% last month as the coronavirus lockdown hit sales.

Only approximately 20,000 new cars were registered in May compared with more than 180,000 during the same month in 2019, according to preliminary figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

Seems work on the quayside rear of the old market, between the Rock Cafe and Papalogos, is now completed with swirly stones pattern and palm trees. Good place to see the turtles.

Most Brits won't be able to holiday in Greece says minister
"This is not going to be for the masses. It has to mean you have more time.”

Greek tourism minister Harry Theoharis said the current restrictions on travellers from most UK airports meant it would be difficult for the majority of holidaymakers from Britain wanting to take a trip to the European country.

Bar from a handful of airport – including London Southend, Bristol and Edinburgh – travellers would face a testing and quarantine arrangement when arriving in Greece until the UK’s coronavirus situation improves, he confirmed.

Mr Theoharis told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “For the rest of the airports, testing is mandatory and for a certain amount of days you wait for the test results."

Punish the murderers of pregnant elephant in Malappuram Kerala

Some locals of Malappuram, Kerala ruthlessly murdered a pregnant elephant who had roamed into the village in search of food by feeding her a pineapple stuffed with crackers which burst inside her. She ran like crazy for the last few minutes of her life but even then didn’t trample anyone, in the end she went and stood in the river just staring until she died, like that - standing.
