Title: New Argostoli-Airport Road
Post by: BeeTee on Friday, 05 June, 2015 @ 10:40:20
It would seem a new road from Argostoli to the Airport is being proposed. Map can be found here...

Seem to recall an earlier plan to link the airport with the main Argostoli-Poros/Skala road, maybe this time it will get a bit further.

That would be too sensible to happen.

Can we let them finish the Divarata/Assos/ Fiskardo road first, without giving them further work to delay, please :pray:

Τι είναι αυτό;

Heard the longer-term plan is to build a triangular five lane motorway Argostoli-Poros-Fiskardo-Argostoli. This will appeal to the Athenian and American market. It will however, be slightly incongrous amid the rural olde-worlde charm of the island. Hence it will be constructed with cobbles.

So they've cobbled together a plan - seems like Greece!  :rofl:
