Numerous blazes break out in Greece

Four different blazes broke out in Greece on Friday afternoon, with the bigger one being the one in the area of Prokopata, south Cephalonia.

Twenty-six firemen manning six vehicles and assisted by two Pezetel water-dropping aircraft were deployed at the Inonian island.

I would have said Prokopata is not in the south of the island. It is in the hills opposite Argostoli. The water dropping helicopter was brought in from the mainland.

Anywhere from the Fanari lighthouse to Poros seems to be described as in the south of the island. There again, being just across the bay from Argostoli, well... north makes me think of Fiskardo, west of Paliki and Assos, east of Poros and Sami... it's none of those.
