'No deal' healthcare

Law 4604/2019, article 125 – Healthcare for UK citizens in Greece in case of no deal.

The law also provides for temporary measures regarding healthcare coverage in case of no deal:

UK citizens and their family members legally residing in Greece before the withdrawal date, will continue to enjoy healthcare benefits (in public hospitals and for public health services) from withdrawal date until the end of 2019, as before.

This is a transitional measure that complements the recently adopted Regulation (EU) 2019/500, which establishes contingency measures (for the case of no deal) in the field of social security coordination following the withdrawal of the UK from the EU. The aim of this Regulation is to ensure that EU members-states will continue to apply the principles of equality of treatment, assimilation and aggregation for social security entitlements of UK citizens residing in EU member-states prior to withdrawal date.

Still not clear - to me - what the situation will actually be after a no-deal Brexit.

As I understood it, the EHIC would not entitle Brits to healthcare in Europe, and the S1would no longer enable the recharge of pensioners healthcare to the UK. In the event of a deal these effects are delayed until Dec 2020, for a no deal only until 31st Dec 19. Unless of course the Greek parliament decides to offer more help, or there is a further Brexit delay.
