An island off the West coast of Greece has been secretly sold to Russia in a deal negotiated personally between Alexis Tsipras, Prime Minister of Greece, and Vladimir Putin of Russia.
Kefalonia, largest of the Epta Nisa (Ionian Islands in English), is, as of this morning, Russian territory for the duration of the ninety-nine year lease.
The precise sum involved is unknown but will wipe out Greece's debt to the troika. Officials in Germany are stunned at this development. America's president, property magnate Donald Trump, has said he'd have cut Tsipras a better deal.
