Mitsotakis: 25 Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Are Coming To Greece

Greece will receive over 25 million COVID-19 vaccine doses through forward contracts signed by the European Union with pharmaceutical companies.

The first deliveries are expected in early 2021, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said during a teleconference on the vaccination strategy against coronavirus.

The Prime Minister clarified that the vaccine will be free for all citizens.

Greece tightens COVID-19 lockdown, shuts primary schools

Greek authorities announced on Saturday the closure of nurseries and primary schools until the end of November, tightening a nationwide lockdown after a spike in COVID-19 cases.
