Greece's fixed broadband access lines in mid-2019 stood at 4.042 million, which accounts for 37.6 percent of the country's population, according to data from telecommunications authority EETT.

The majority of lines, over 96 percent, correspond to rated downloads of over 10Mbps. The proportion of lines of 30 Mbps or more constitute 23.3 percent of the country's broadband lines, while lines with speeds of 100Mbps or more make up 1.1 percent.

The total number of active mobile telecommunications subscribers that used internet data services in the first half was 9.273 million, with an 86 percent population penetration.
