Well done that man!  :btu:

I thought G.O.K. might mean Greeks Only Know!

Your hospital knowledge is greater than mine, Tony, but I think ΤΜΗΜΑ ΛΟΙΜΩΔΩΝ-ΜΑΓΝΗΤΙΚΟΣ / Infectious Magnetic might well have something to do with e.g.
Magnetic resonance imaging characterization of microbial infections

ΤΜΗΜΑ ΛΟΙΜΩΔΩΝ-ΜΑΓΝΗΤΙΚΟΣ is in the same block and on the same floor level as the Tomography unit, I think we'd call it MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) / MRT (Magnetic Resonance Tomography).

Magnetic Resonance Imaging / MRI Scan

GGi web page amended - we're getting there!

Maik:
Hope this is of no use to anyone: haven't checked Ionian Group but Kefalonian Lines and KTEL have changed some of  the scheduled times for the Christmas period, may change again after New Year.

I've also added a small section to the Patras Hospital web page re eating out in Patras. Might be of interest even if you're only going for a bit of (Christmas) shopping.
 :x-smile:

KTEL Kefalonias bus station in Patras is now at the Panayiotis Kanellopoulos building, Ηρώων Πολυτεχνείου 42 (Iroon Polytechniou 42), telephone 2610 420 400.

Best place to catch the local bus to the hospital is probably still on Korinthou. From the bus station cross the 'square' and walk up Sarantaporou, across Konstantinoupoleos and up to Korinthou. On return journey try to alight near junction of Sarantaporou and Konstantinoupoleos.

I quite liked the old bus station, reminded me of Greece thirty or so years ago.

BeeTee:
Some pics of the new station here...

--- Quote ---Surgeries at western Greece general hospital suspended from Monday

Surgeons at the Rio general hospital near Patra in western Greece are suspending all procedures that are not considered an emergency as of Monday.

Surgeons at the state-run hospital decided on this course of action last week in response to what they claim are serious shortages in facilities and staff that are preventing them from doing their jobs.

Among other demands, they want more intensive care beds and nursing staff.
