Thirteen fox cubs rescued by Gloucestershire animal rescue centre
An animal rescue centre has said it already has thirteen fox cubs to look after, as it gears up for its busiest season.
Staff at Vale Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre, near Tewkesbury, said they are working flat out to keep the young pups bottle-fed, while also preparing for the arrival of many more injured animals.
"We're coming up to our busiest season, the baby season," said wildlife care assistant, Megan Phillips.
"We will start to get the baby birds, the fox cubs, the badger cubs - every sort of baby now.
"The winter season is more about rescuing hedgehogs and pigeons for us, but we are starting to step into our baby season, which does come very quickly.
"We always go from nothing to everything very suddenly!" https://www.itv.com/news/westcountry/2024-04-07/thirteen-fox-cubs-rescued-by-animal-rescue-centre

From blue and white to the colours of the rainbow: Greece’s new tourism campaign embraces LGBTQI diversity
Visit Greece, the official website of the Greek national tourism organisation (EOT), introduced a new section promoting Greece as a prominent LGBTQI-friendly destination.
The April Visit Greece newsletter titled ‘With the colours of the rainbow’, boasts content promoting Athens as a city “colourful, welcoming and alive” and Thessaloniki as “Open to all”.
Among the most popular destinations for the LGBTQI community is Mykonos, hailed as the “queen of gay nightlife”. However, its appeal extends beyond partying, offering serene coastal retreats and relaxation options.
Other equally enticing destinations on Visit Greece include Lesvos and more specifically the town of Eresos. Santorini, Skiathos, Corfu, and Crete are also highlighted, each offering their unique charm and welcoming atmosphere. https://neoskosmos.com/en/2024/04/07/news/greece/from-blue-and-white-to-the-colours-of-the-rainbow-greeces-new-tourism-campaign-embraces-lgbtqi-diversity/
