Couple of reports on a conservation versus construction battle on Corfu - yes, apparently it isn't all Blackpool in the sun! (Yet). On the one hand, a cash-strapped Greek government wanting to cover a piece of virgin Greece in (up-market) concrete; on the other hand, mainly (extremely) wealthy Brits who don't want it in their back yard.
