Title: Road Works around Argostoli Lagoon ?

it looks like there are plans to do road works around the lagoon from April to October. This is quite a busy road during the tourist season but I guess they know what they are doing  :wacko:

Not unknown for road works to commence unannounced, so maybe it's progress  :hmm:

Probably been on a seminar organised by Highways England as they seem to wait for holiday periods to start repairs! :dunno:

They cannot close the road, because there is no other easy way, apart from opening the bridge to traffic. So I suppose it will be single file traffic where the works are carried out.

Just saw a post this morning the first vehicle has traveled over it.

It doesn't look open to the public yet thou.

Read the article and it says that it will be officially opened on 1st May.
