Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 paid extended support for commercial users have now reached end of life, the last version of Windows 10 Home and Pro is due for end of life on 14/10/2025. As yet there's no official end of life date for Windows 11. Unofficial speculation is that updated versions of Windows 11 will be supported until at least October 2031.

However, there's already talk of Windows 12. According to many sources, such as windowscentral.com, it will be released sometime in 2024 at the earliest. A more recent article in computerworld.com reckons Windows 12 will (possibly) be based on Artifical Intelligence and won't be ready for release until much later this decade. However, that could become Windows 13...
