Seems a female Greek resident has tested positive at Argostoli hospital for coronavirus after returning to Kefalonia for the summer season. The sixty-five year old woman is isolating at home in Skala area and her contacts are being traced.

A total of 63 forest fires were recorded nationwide between 19:00 on Sunday and the same time Monday, the Fire Brigade reported.

They involved 586 firefighters and 220 fire engines, 17 mountain units on foot, 4 water-bombing aircraft, 2 helicopters, and were assisted by volunteer firefighters, local water trucks and heavy machinery.

As yet unconfirmed: Allegedly two more people - not tourists - have presented themselves at Argostoli hospital with coronavirus. As I've heard it, the female who tested positive yesterday and the two latest suspects recently travelled to Albania for a funeral and contracted Covid-19 there.
