Missing Membury boy could be in Greece

A CHARITY has received information that missing Membury boy Arthur Heeler-Frood may be in Greece.

Arthur, a 15-year-old Colyton Grammar School student, has been missing from his home in Membury, near Axminster, since Tuesday, September 6th.

Greek missing children’s charity ‘The Smile of The Child’ reported last week that it had received information from Missing People, its partner organisation in the UK, saying that Arthur was believed to possibly be in Greece.

Police have not confirmed this and said they have not received any information themselves to suggest Arthur is in Greece, but enquiries are ongoing.

Sounds as though there are plans to have Agion Fenenton and Agios Nikolaos in Sami and Sissia monasteries to be substantially renovated.

Waiter knocks thumb off Roman sculpture at British Museum

A waiter working at the British Museum knocked the thumb off a priceless Roman sculpture, it has emerged.

The accident occurred in December last year, according to The Art Newspaper, but has only just come to light.

The waiter, who was from an external company, had bent down underneath the Townley Venus and knocked its right hand while getting up again.

The thumb was knocked clean off the statue and fell to the floor intact. The statue has now been restored.
