Post by: Maik on Thursday, 07 June, 2018 @ 21:34:16
Kefalonia recorded the biggest increase in air arrivals in the Eptanisa during May according to the region’s vice governor, Spyros Galiatsatos.

With regard to international arrivals Kef welcomed 33.80% more visitors (presumably compared to May, 2017) while Corfu recorded a 24.25% increase and Zakynthos was up by 21.30%.

On all three islands the majority of visitors flew in from UK airports.

It was also a good month for domestic arrivals with Kef benefitting from a 23.90% increase, Corfu was up by 16.90% and Zakynthos by 9.7%

Sounds impressive but percentage increases don't necessarily mean a lot.
