Was a tad busy in Ta Pitharia on Saturday, I guess the same at Gourgouris, seeing as we have a considerable influx of tourists and villa owners here at the moment but hardly anywhere open! Thankfully Pines restaurant opened on Monday to help give everyone a little more choice. In Katelios it's only Medusa open - bless Illyas, always first to open and last to close!

Talking of Katelios, for anyone over here at the mo, there will be a Spring festival on Sunday 21st April. The usual things - traditional dancing, food and drinks. All proceeds going to the volunteer firefighters, who keep us safe in the summer months. The weather forecast is promising  :beach:

Good old Pines to the rescue.!!!Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and the weather is as good as ours hopefully looks.Loved our time spent in Skala at Easter and all the lovely Spring flowers we found on our trips out. Most beautiful were the rare Violets we found right by the mast at the top of Mt Anos. A botanist ,from Leeds University, we bumped into was looking for them and told us they were special to Kefalonia. Magical Moment!!!
