Now, this looks interesting - recycle old plastic bottles and the local strays get fed:

Greek battle helmet from the 4th century BC is found buried with an elite warrior who was laid to rest in a rock-cut tomb more than 2,000 years ago

An ancient Greek war helmet has been unearthed in a rock-cut tomb where a warrior was laid to rest more than 2,000 years ago.

The Illyrian helmet still boasts its iconic open-faced design, which was first developed in the Peloponnese region of Greece during the 8th and 7th centuries BC.

The tomb was built on the side of a mountain in Zakotarac, on the Pelješac peninsula, in southern Dalmatia, Croatia.

Seems the idea of recycling plastic bottles while feeding strays isn't new, a Turkish company, Pugedon, built some machines back in 2014:

Covid: UK isolation period shortened to 10 days

Self-isolation for contacts of people with confirmed coronavirus will be shortened from 14 to 10 days across the UK from Monday.

The change will also apply to people instructed to quarantine after returning from high-risk countries.

And it means anyone who has been self-isolating for 10 days or more will be able to end their quarantine on Monday.

Those with symptoms or a positive test are already expected to isolate for 10 days.

Dozens of GP practices in England opt out of Covid vaccine rollout
Exclusive: more than 100,000 patients will have to get jab elsewhere as GPs say they lack capacity to take part

More than 100,000 patients will not be able to get the Covid vaccine from their family doctor after their GP surgeries decided not to take part in its deployment, the Guardian can reveal.

Dozens of GP practices in England have chosen not to join the NHS’s coronavirus vaccination programme amid concerns their workloads are already too heavy, they have too few staff and that patients could suffer if practices have to cut back other services so doctors can administer the injections.

Their reluctance to inoculate patients threatens to overshadow the start of the second phase of the vaccine rollout, which is due to start next week, with GPs taking part for the first time.

Black Friday offers fail to satisfy

Consumer suspicions that this year’s Black Friday offers didn’t offer much in the way of bargains have been confirmed by data compiled by online commerce platform Skroutz, as just 8.32% of the products sold during the sales period last month had a discount of more than 10%.

The comparative data used by the platform’s Business Intelligence unit showed that the vast majority (87.9%) of products sold over this Black Friday period were sold for the same price as before the commercial event or up to 10% cheaper. There was even 3.78% of products whose prices were hiked before Black Friday, the researchers found.

This is not a new phenomenon.
