Not so sure about the "temporary" structures though, bit lacking in character compared to old ones?

Lovely pics, Rog! Forecast looks OK so the beach should stay seaweed free. Hadn't thought about it but agree with Misty, temporary structures look a bit characterless compared to the old 'kioskis'. Better than no shade, though.

True about the shade Maik. Had another thought, where will the poor little swallows build their nests. There used to be little platforms attached to the wooden beams in the old structures

Thanks Roger - great update - great pics :btu: .

All very interesting.  The temporary kioskis look fine for July/August but even in June it can be cold/damp in the evenings.  Will they be be enough protection even with the standard issue heavy duty plastic sides.

Not sure if we'll be there/who will go if at all this year because of continuing family illness which meant we had to cancel our second visit in September last year.   :(
