According to Panagis Kappatos, ND Member of Parliament for Kefalonia & Ithaca, renovation of Archaeological Museum of Argostoli will begin in the coming weeks with a budget of 6,162,767.24 euros; the Ministry of Culture is proceeding with the protection and promotion of the Roman burial monument in Fiskardo; work at the Gerasimos Sklavos Museum is in progress and restoration of the Mycenaean tholos tomb at Tzannata is ongoing.
