Bit of a bump in Argostoli port yesterday afternoon when the WANDERLUST, the EKSTASIS and the French-flagged RODRIGUES collided. No injuries suffered and minor damage only, no marine pollution. All three confined to port until re-classified as seaworthy.

Match crowd catches falling cat in a flag

A cat was caught by spectators at an American football match in Miami Gardens, Florida, after it fell from the stadium's upper deck.

Brief video in link, easy to see cat falling, bit trickier to see cat being caught, I had to watch a couple of times and then spotted it being held aloft.

IONIAN FILM OFFICE: Filmmakers invited to shoot on Greece’s beautiful Ionian islands

Filmmakers from around the world are invited to shoot on Greece’s beautiful Ionian islands and make use of their natural beauty, landscape and architecture that has made them an attractive destination for cinema productions, TV series, documentaries and short films.

Additional incentives are the production rebate offers to production companies and the wide range of support services offered by Greek government agencies.

Filmmakers interested in filming on the Greek islands, in particular the famed islands of  Corfu Kefallonia, Ithaca,  Lefkada and Zakynthos should consider consulting the Ionian Film Office.

The Region of the Ionian Islands has established its own Film Office based in Kerkyra (Corfu) with representation on all the Ionian Islands, Kerkyra, Kefallonia, Ithaca,  Lefkada and Zakynthos (Zante).

Sounds as though there was a spot of football hooliganism in Argostoli during Saturday night when a sixteen y-o male on the island to attend the Panionios football tournament was attacked in the main square and had to be taken to Argostoli hospital for treatment.
