Yesterday’s Greek cup semi-final between PAOK and Olympiakos was held up for over an hour on Wednesday after supporters set off flares and smoke bombs and even set light to the Olympiakos bench.
The semi-final needed little billing as the fixture is tempestuous at the best of times, but matters certainly got out of hand before a ball was ever kicked in anger.
Before kick-off PAOK fans lit thousand of torches and smoke bombs and some were thrown at the Olympiakos players and bench when the two teams entered the football pitch.

Seemed to lack the traditional on-field punch-up, or is that reserved for the final?! Given the relations with Olympiakos and the current state of the the Super League it was fairly mild. ;) We wait to see what happens on 25/05 vs Panathinaikos.
