Greek Holiday Calculator
« Reply #1 on: Monday, 11 January, 2016 @ 10:51:57 »
Greek Holiday Calculator produces a list of currently recognised public holidays / feast days and notable events for any year.

By default it shows dates for current year, to view dates for another year enter year in cell A1.

Created in LibreOffice Calc, should open and function in MS Excel and OpenOffice. Looks to be reasonably accurate but offered "as is". Download available below in .xlsx (Excel 2007-2016), .xls (Excel 97-2003) and .ods (LibreOffice/OpenOffice Calc) formats.

Edit: download files amended to work in Excel

I'm using Microsoft Excel 2007 and all I get in the fields is #NAME?
Am I doing something wrong?

Probably not, but it should open OK in Excel 2007. Can it (Excel 2007) handle .xls and/or .odt .ods files?

Get the same as I did previously. I can load other .xls files but haven't been able to find a .odt file to try yet.

Maik, your formulas point at E, H, G etc, but there's no content there when opened in Excel

(ignore above, have just unprotected cells)

I'm getting the same "#NAME?" in A3 - D45

(F49)  DAYSINYEAR is not a function in Excel

Use =MOD(YEAR(F50),4) perhaps?

Yep, that could be it  :iroll:

I cleared F49, and spreadsheet then functions - except of course, I expect there's no Feb 29 check?
