Locals in Sami discovered an elderly woman hanging in the yard of her home. Foul play not suspected.

Kyllini will become the first port in the Eastern Mediterranean to install a cold ironing system, also known as Alternative Marine Power or Shore-to-Ship Power. Ships in port continue to use their diesel engines to power the ship's operations, e.g. loading/unloading, maintain lighting, refrigeration, heating, etc. This causes air pollution in the port area. AMP reduces the pollution.
