Yvonne has asked us to let everyone know that sadly Dan has passed away. He died peacefully at 6am this morning in Argostoli. The funeral will be at the cemetery in Valeriano at 12 o’clock on Friday. Friends are welcome at Aliti’s afterwards to celebrate Dan’s life . Please no sombre clothes. It would be helpful to have an idea of numbers for Aliti’s, so would people please let Yvonne know if you are intending to be there – she is on facebook as Yvonne Parker. Dan will be greatly missed, but it’s a relief to know he is now at peace.

I've fond memories of good times spent with Dan, in and around Katelios.
Invariably involving a beer and a laugh - not always in that order, and rarely in the singular either.
I found him a true gentleman. I will miss him, and I'm confident I won't be alone in that.

Not a shock, because he had been ill for some time and perhaps rather a release for him. Always cheerful with a great sense of humour. He will be missed and always remembered.
