Today’s bank rates:
1 €UR = £0.9058 GBP
1 €UR = $1.1222 USD
£1 GBP = 1.1040 €UR
$1 USD = 0.8911 €UR
Based on Alpha Bank exchange rates, these are widely used by exchange agencies in Greece.
Other banks likely to offer a different rate which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the Post Office (https://www.postoffice.co.uk/travel-money).
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

Long Covid symptoms still plaguing patients
The coronavirus is still a force to be reckoned with, with people with long Covid receiving treatment at special clinics operating in hospitals and health centers.
“The most common symptoms reported by patients are chronic fatigue, anorexia, weakness, moodiness, shortness of breath and a chronic cough. To a lesser extent we see patients with cardiac problems, metabolic or other disorders,” said Antonia Koutsoukou, director of the University Clinic at Sotiria Hospital and head of its post-Covid clinic. “We see post-Covid patients at the clinic who were sick with Covid in the pandemic’s first phase,” she said.
“Covid continues to amaze us. The spread of the virus in the community is high and people continue to get infected. We may not see severe cases with the same frequency; however, some patients can get seriously ill. It is everyone’s responsibility to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves,” she noted.

The former prime minister’s latest entry in the Register of Members’ Interests says that he “received £510,000 as an advance on an upcoming book yet to be published” - even though he has so far done just 10 hours work on it.

How to tell if your cats are fighting or playing, according to scientists
There are three categories of feline behaviour and it's important that owners can identify each one
Hissing and wrestling may not be signs that your cats have fallen out, scientists have found.
Cats, often maligned for being solitary and combative creatures, have been found to have very complex ways of interacting and communicating with each other.
Hissing, for example, is often perceived as a sign of blatant aggression, but experts say this is not necessarily the case and is used by pet cats to tell another feline it isn’t in the mood for playing.
Expert analysis of 105 YouTube videos involving 210 cats interacting reveal there to be three categories of feline behaviour: playful, intermediate and agonistic.

Password managers based in the cloud, such as LastPass and Bitwarden, are being targeted by malicious Google ads which lead to fake - but convincing - replica sites that steal log-in credentials. Care needs to be taken (as always) when clicking on links, an offline password manager stored on your PC, such as KeePass (https://keepass.info/), could be a solution. As could not using Google for searches. More info on bleepingcomputer.com (https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/bitwarden-password-vaults-targeted-in-google-ads-phishing-attack/)

Applicants to the police who can barely write in English are being accepted by the Met in an attempt to improve diversity, one of His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary has warned.
HMI Matt Parr said that while it was entirely “noble and right” that Scotland Yard was aiming to be more representative of the community it policed, it should not be at the expense of standards.
