KAT AGM 9th May 2015

Committee Members
Pat Dolman– President
Jane Regan – Treasurer
Janet Jones - Vice Treasurer
Catherine Candy – Secretary
Sheila Steven
Maria Butler

Apologies
Unfortunately Vassiliki unable to attend due to prior commitments.

Treasurer's Report
Jane handed out summaries of the annual accounts for 2014.  She also had the detailed accounts if anyone wanted to look at them.

Money this year had been raised from a number of sources, the Charity Shops, direct donations through Paypal or into the various bank accounts, cash donations and Easy Fundraising.

Total raised during 2014   -   €30,920.94
Total monies paid to vets   -     €33,030.88
Total monies spent       -    €35,530.89

There were a number of people who were thanked for their help with raising money.  The list of names is at the end of these minutes.

Neutering
Pat Dolman presented the neutering numbers for 2014

Female dogs 120
Male dogs 43
Female cats 324
Male cats 140
Volunteer vet numbers 98 total

Included in this number were some dogs and cats from ARK and a large number of street strays, mainly cats, who were neutered and released.  Dogs are more expensive to neuter than cats and many more dogs were neutered than ever before making these figures even more impressive.

However, the waiting list is still very long, but more requests are coming from Greek people which is a positive sign

In 2014 we had 3 volunteers vets, including one in Fiskardo, which meant an increase to the cat neuters

Any Other Business

Donation envelopes
There was an article in the Ionian Holiday re funds raised for KATs via the donation envelopes, and they are going to push even harder in 2015, and it was agreed it had been a good initiative.

Everyone was thanked for coming.  The owners of Hotel Ionis were thanked for allowing us to hold the AGM in their premises.

Meeting Closed
