--- Quote ---Poll to find first national bird for Britain

Votes can now be cast in an online poll to choose what could become Britain's first national bird.

Currently Britain does not have a national bird, but ornithologist David Lindo believes that should change.

A shortlist of 10 birds has been chosen by online voters on his campaign's website from an original list of 60.

Mr Lindo will close the vote on the day of the general election, 7 May, and ask the new government to officially appoint the winner as national bird.

Greece.sucks

At one time websites had a simple suffix such as .com or .co.uk or .gr, etc. Then, it seems, the world ran short of web addresses so others, such as .info and .org, became available. And so it goes on... and on, and on... including .mom, .gay, .bible, .xxx and .porn

Around now you can set up a website ending in .sucks

Not too hard to see that ryanair.sucks or ukip.sucks might be quite in demand (I'll leave other possibilities to your imagination).

It'll cost quite a few bob. For one thing, Ryanair probably aren't going to want anyone setting up ryanair.sucks and, the reckoning is, many companies will buy the .sucks variation just to stop anyone else buying it.

Or they'll go legal, as in the case of walmart.horse

I'll let you know if I happen to herr of anyone wanting to buy greece.sucks...
