Germany has announced plans to tax the millions of foreign motorists who use its roads, including the famous autobahn highway, from 2016 onwards.
Vehicles will be issued with badges, costing between 10 euros for 10 days and about 100 euros for a year-long permit.
Critics of the planned toll say it violates EU anti-discrimination laws.

Warning of delays at ferry ports ahead of new passport checks
The concerns relate to new exit border checks that come into effect on April 8 – the Wednesday after Easter Sunday – and could impact families heading abroad for spring holidays.
Every tourist leaving the UK will have their passports checked at ferry ports for the first time in 20 years.
