The website for the PLF form seems to show a blank screen. Has anyone else succeeded in downloading the form?
Using the link in post above, I'm seeing an online form to fill in rather than a form to download.

If we're talking about the same thing, try a different browser or try clearing your current browser's cache.

Sorry about the Link in previous post - that'll teach me to Hyperlink to a LIVE site

Here's what it would have said;

"...Greece has decided to ban all flights from the UK until 15 July, according to Athens News Agency.
The current ban was expiring on 1 July but the Greek government has extended it for two more weeks...."

Happens to the best of us, Tony! So this might be of (very minor) interest: an article about the "Latest Travel protocol for Greece" on greekreporter.com

Quote
The targeted testings will be based on special software that calculates which tourists are more likely to be carriers of Covid-19. The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is now a key element for travel to Greece.

Link supposedly to the Passenger Locator Form actually leads to an article about George Zapantis. Hey ho!

We woz tipped off about Brits not being immediately welcome but if anyone wants confirmation about the 15 July start date it can be found on ekathimerini.com ,etc.

Zakynthos is recording a new case of coronavirus, after a positive man was found who entered the hospital on Sunday night with a high fever.

According to information, the man of Zakynthian origin had recently returned from Germany to our island where he showed symptoms, as a result of which he came to the Hospital for examination.

The man received a sample which was sent to the Pasteur Institute and tested positive.

Now Zakynthos counts the 7th positive case of coronary heart disease, after a long time that no one had.

This development comes just one day before tourism opens on the island.

Here, at last, a link to the elusive Passenger Locator Form (PLF) itself.

You must complete a Passenger Locator Form, at least 48 hours before your arrival in Greece. The specific arrangements that apply depend on your point of departure. See Entry requirements for more information.

Entry requirements

Restrictions in response to coronavirus

You must complete an online Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 48 hours before your arrival in Greece. The form is online, in English. Once you have completed the form, you will receive a QR code (which you can display either on your mobile phone, or on a printed piece of paper). You will need to show this code to the Greek authorities on your arrival in Greece.

You must wear a face mask at all times when on an aeroplane or ferry travelling to or from Greece; and whilst at airports.

When you arrive in Greece, the Greek authorities will scan the QR code generated when you completed the PLF form, and may direct you for health screening (including testing for coronavirus). The Greek authorities’ instructions will differ according to whether you arrive by land, sea or air. Check out the requirements that will apply to you on the PLF form page.

The Greek authorities may require you to undergo testing for coronavirus, as part of health screening after you arrive in Greece. Any passenger entering Greece is liable to be asked to undergo a test, but you are likely to be asked if you have arrived from a country outside of the EU (including the UK), either directly or via indirect flights. If you are a British national who lives permanently within the EU, or have been in another EU country for some time before travelling on to Greece, you may be asked to prove that you have not recently travelled from the UK.

After testing, you will need to self-isolate at the address given on your PLF form, filled out prior to your arrival in Greece. You will be contacted by the Greek authorities with your test results, and given further instructions (e.g. whether you are free to leave your accommodation, or must self-isolate for a longer period). If your test result is negative, you will no longer need to self-isolate. If your test result is positive, the Greek authorities are likely to ask you to self-isolate in government-provided accommodation for 14 days.

You must comply with all instructions given by the Greek authorities. Failure to do so may result in you being refused permission to enter Greece and / or legal enforcement.

You should also be aware that if other passengers on your flight subsequently test positive, you may be subject to further quarantine/ self isolation requirements. These will be mandatory and you should comply with the Greek Authorities’ requirements.

British nationals are not affected by the European Union’s measures to close EU borders to non-EU country nationals. If you’re a British national, you can still enter Greece, but you must comply with the Greek authorities’ requirements, including on testing and self-isolation.

Allegedly he flew to Bulgaria then, hm, walked hundreds of miles to the Pelion? It would be one hell of a taxi fare and I can't quite see him getting a bus... and another bus... and another...  not sure how Bulgarian car hire companies would feel about their cars being taken across national borders but I'm sure he can afford to buy a car, never mind rent one.

Now, a bit of news that's handy for Stanley:

What Happens If I Get Covid-19 on My Holidays in Greece?

Greece conducted more that 6,500 tests for Covid-19 at airports across the country on the first day it re-opened its borders to travelers on Wednesday, with the first 250 samples coming out negative, airport and health authorities said on Thursday.

But what happens if you do come down with Covid-19 while you are on holiday in Greece? According to guidelines issued by the National Public Health Organization (EODY) and the health ministry the following applies:

Results of Covid-19 tests to 6,000 tourists from UK to determine if Greek borders remain open

The result of the sweeping Covid-19 tests carried out on the approximately 6,000 British tourists who arrived in Greece today, Wednesday, will determine whether or not the Greek borders will remain open for tourists entering the country from the UK.

According to the plan, almost all tourists arriving in Greece will be tested and if the number (and percentage) of those who test positive is low, not exceeding 30-40 cases, then with strict and ongoing epidemiological surveillance tests Britain’s tourism market will remain open.

However, if the numbers of those infected are higher, the government is committed to closing the borders again, weighing that the cost of the risk of spreading the coronavirus is far more important than any benefits for the tourism industry.
