Title: Thomas Cook returns to Kefalonia
Post by: Maik on Monday, 14 September, 2020 @ 03:10:22
Thomas Cook relaunches this week, if not today, according to travelweekly.co.uk (https://www.travelweekly.co.uk/articles/385829/thomas-cook-poised-to-relaunch-as-ota-next-week)

Looks as though they plan to come to Kef, here's their pages for Katelios (https://www.thomascook.com/holidays/greece/kefalonia/katelios/), Lassi (https://www.thomascook.com/holidays/greece/kefalonia/lassi), Sami (https://www.thomascook.com/holidays/greece/kefalonia/sami/) and Skala (https://www.thomascook.com/holidays/greece/kefalonia/skala/)... and, according to this Skala page (https://www.thomascook.com/holidays/greece/kefalonia/skala//travel-guide), Koukounaries!

Interestingly, of Katelios it says:
Quote
This holiday hotspot is a year-round destination with beautifully long, warm summers and mild winters.

Well, yes, it does tend to have long, warm summers and mild winters - as does most of Kef - but it's hardly a year-round destination... but maybe TC plan to bring in hundreds of tourists over the winter :dunno:

Great news, they can help me feed the cats.
