EU health body warns against visiting popular Greek islands over COVID-19

Greece’s Coast Guard Sends Bill to Rescued Couple
After rescuing a couple from the sea off Kalo Limenes, Crete, last weekend, the Greek Coast Guard sent a bill for its services so that the taxpayer-funded agency can be reimbursed for its trouble.
A major search and rescue operation had been launched on Saturday for the 45-year old man and his 39-year-old girlfriend, who had set out on the water off Crete despite a small boat advisory posted by the Coast Guard.

'Brighton cat killer' Steven Bouquet jailed for stabbing 16 pets
A security guard has been jailed for more than five years for stabbing 16 cats in a series of night-time attacks.
Steven Bouquet killed nine cats around Brighton between October 2018 and June 2019. Seven more were injured.
