Valley of the other kings: Lost dynasty found in Egypt

A previously unknown, yet potentially very important, ancient Egyptian kingdom has been discovered by archaeologists working in the Nile Valley.

Excavations at Abydos, 70 miles north-west  of Egypt's famous Valley of the Kings, have revealed the existence of an entire royal cemetery, now believed to be the final resting place of up to 16 mysterious pharaohs - an entire dynasty whose existence was up till now virtually unknown to the Egyptological world.

Think I might've got the story about 'holding facilities' at various ports around Kef wrong. Latest I've heard, the coast guard at Lixouri, Poros and Sami is being (in some way) downgraded. Additional holding facilities makes sense but, these days, downgrading services seems more likely.

There are some 2,200,000 ATMs in use around the world, according to statisticbrain.com (http://www.statisticbrain.com/atm-machine-statistics/) and, as reported on businessweek.com (http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2014-01-16/atms-face-deadline-to-upgrade-from-windows-xp), "Microsoft’s 12-year-old Windows XP dominates the ATM market, powering more than 95 percent of the world’s machines... according to Robert Johnston, a marketing director at NCR, the largest ATM supplier in the U.S."

Edit: Quick calc - that's about 2,090,000 still running on XP

An 18 year-old man in Kavala, Northern Greece, did not hesitate to force his 17 year-old sister into prostitution. The ruthless man was charging potential clients 1,100€ for the services of his underage sister.

Police attained information on the young man prostituting his sister and soon after a policeman contacted the brother pretending to be a client interested in booking an appointment.

Later on, the brother went to the appointment with his sister. After receiving the amount of 1,100€, the man delivered the girl to the officer who was posing as a client, giving him the right to abuse her as he wishes for the next two months.
