Municipality of Argostoli are reminding property owners and tenants of the need to clear flammable materials such as dead branches and dry grasses from their land to reduce the risk of fire starting / spreading.

From what I can make out, owners (/tenants?) of properties in or near forested / grassland areas need to have a competent technical scientist compile a fire risk assessment by 31/03/2024 and submit a declaration of intended implementation of the fire safety measures by 30/04/2024.
