Today’s bank rates:
1 €UR = £0.9140 GBP
1 €UR = $1.0994 USD
£1 GBP = 1.0941 €UR
$1 USD = 0.9096 €UR

Based on Alpha Bank exchange rates, these are widely used by exchange agencies in Greece.
Other banks likely to offer a different rate which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the
Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

Britain faces tomato shortage as bad weather squeezes supply
UK increasingly reliant on Morocco, which has suffered a disrupted harvest, in wake of Brexit

Britain relies on Morocco, the Netherlands and Spain for tomatoes over winter. Importers have become increasingly reliant on Morocco in the wake of Brexit, which has slowed the trade in fresh produce with Europe.

‘Meghan who?’ Harry and Meghan were on chaotic guestlist for Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham wedding
Billionaire heiress and David Beckham’s son tied the knot in lavish bash in Florida last year

It could not be confirmed whether the ‘Megan’ and Harry referred to in the exchanges were definitely the Sussexes. They did not attend the wedding.

Roads around the centre of Skala (excluding pedestrian stretch) are currently being resurfaced. May even be finished before the first tourists arrive (in any numbers).

Europe is turning its back on British tourists – and it's class based
Tourist bosses in these destinations are discouraging tight-budget UK travellers from holidaymaking on their sunny shores

Majorca’s director of tourism, Lucia Escribano, recently sparked outrage when she said the island would not be promoting travel for summer 2023 because it was “not interested in having… budget tourists from the UK – and we don’t care if they go [instead] to Greece and Turkey.”

Not all European destinations are sticking to the script. The Greek Tourist board said it’s adding extra capacity for this summer, as well as promoting out-of-season travel.

Across the continent, the buzzwords are “low-impact”, “high-quality” and “less-is-more tourism” – essentially more expensive holidays. But the question is, why have Britons become so closely associated with “low-quality” tourism?

For its part, Spain has denied it wants to reduce the number of British visitors. Manuel Butler, Director of the UK Spanish Tourist Office tells Telegraph Travel: “Spain is a socially inclusive destination and we do not discriminate by type of visitor.”

Royal Mail resumes overseas deliveries via post offices after cyber-attack
Branches to get payments to cover lost international income, as postal workers threaten further strikes

Royal Mail has restarted international parcel and letter deliveries through Post Office branches almost six weeks after it revealed it had been affected by a ransomware cyber-attack that left it battling to get its international services back up and running.

It refused to pay an $80m (£67m) ransom sought by hackers linked to Russia after the “cyber incident”, which resulted in 11,500 Post Office branches across the UK being unable to handle international mail or parcels.

Asda and Morrisons limit sales of some fruit and vegetables

Asda and Morrisons are putting limits on purchases of some fruit and vegetables as supermarkets face shortages of fresh produce.

Asda said it was capping sales of items such as tomatoes, peppers and lettuce at three each per customer.

Morrisons said limits of two on products like cucumbers would be introduced at stores from Tuesday.

However Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lidl and Marks & Spencer currently do not have limits in place.
