A Hungarian mayor has put an entire village up for rent for £500 per day, which includes four streets, a bus stop, a barn and peace and quiet for miles around.

Megyer, in the north west of the country, has a tiny population of just 18 and comes with guest houses that sleep 39 people in total.

There are also six horses, two cows, three sheep and a chicken yard on four hectares (10 acres) of land – which could add up to there being more animals than humans.
