This is an overall forecast, due to the mountainous terrain the weather can be very localised.
Based on forecast from
weather.com

Today's bank rate: 1 GBP =       1.1335

£ GBP     €uro      -2.00%
100.00   113.35   111.09

Based on Alpha Bank exchange rates, which are widely used by exchange agencies in Greece.
Other banks likely to offer a different rate which may be marginally higher or lower.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the
Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

Mediterranean deluged with 17,600 tonnes of plastic waste every year, study finds

Climate researchers investigating the extent of plastic pollution in the Mediterranean have found that 17,600 metric tonnes are dumped into the sea off Southern Europe every year, with 3,760 metric tonnes left to float on the surface.

Of that total, 84 per cent will ultimately be washed up on beaches while the remaining 16 per cent remains in the water or sinks to the seafloor, according to academics from the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research in Greece, who published their findings in the journal Frontiers in Marine Science.

Robots give Greece's postal service speed boost

There's a new addition to Greece's postal service: a fleet of yellow robots sorting through the mail.

Fifty-five small, four-wheeled autonomous mobile robots -- or AMR's -- powered by artificial intelligence, glide around Hellenic Post's sorting centre in Athens, speeding up an often arduous process.

They scan the postal code, weigh the package and, directed by sensors, empty it into the corresponding mail sacks set up around a platform.

All ELTA needs do now is deliver by drone and Roger's sorted  ;)
