There's six (or more) gofundme pages claiming to be fundraising for animal welfare on Kefalonia. They may be genuine or they may not. If you want to be sure your donation goes where you intend you can cut out the unknown middle person and donate directly, e.g:

Donate to ARK (Animal Rescue Kefalonia)

Donate to KATs (Kefalonia Animal Trust)
