Happy (Western) Easter. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the sun... while it's here  :bun1:

Twenty one new coronavirus cases confirmed on Kefalonia yesterday by EODY, three on Ithaka

Today’s bank rates:
1 €UR = £ 0.8578 GBP
1 €UR = $ 1.1151 USD
£1 GBP = 1.1658 €UR
$1 USD = 0.8968 €UR

Based on Alpha Bank exchange rates, these are widely used by exchange agencies in Greece.
Other banks likely to offer a different rate which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the
Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

Ten day weather forecast for Kefalonia:
This is an overall forecast, due to the mountainous terrain the weather can be very localised.

Fresh allegations emerge about Johnson’s involvement in partygate

Labour has called Boris Johnson’s involvement in the partygate saga “indefensible” as fresh allegations emerged about the Prime Minister’s conduct.

The Sunday Times said Mr Johnson is expected to deliver a statement when MPs return to the Commons on Tuesday, where he will not deny wrongdoing but will point towards the wider context, including the war in Ukraine.

But the newspaper also revealed fresh claims that Mr Johnson was not only present at a leaving do for his former press chief but that he led the celebrations.

Unconfirmed: heard that Ήλιοβασίλεμα / Sunset taverna above Poros port will be re-opening, albeit with a new owner (and presumably no Voula Petri).
