How to buy an entire village - on the cheap
Why buy a house when you can buy the whole village? It is not as rare as it seems.
A Yorkshire village, complete with more than 40 houses and over one thousand acres has just been put on the market for £20 million. Left untouched for 50 years, it is a time warp and a great opportunity to put on your own soap opera.
Recently, Savills sold the hamlet of Little Rollright, near the celeb hotspot of Chipping Norton, for an undisclosed sum. It had been on the market for £18 million.

Spain's Prime Minister set to drop siesta to shorten working day by two hours
He is also looking to return Spain back to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) as it is currently one hour ahead of London, the same as eastern European countries such as the Czech Republic.
This odd time arrangement dates back to 1942 when former dictator General Franco showed his support for Hitler's Nazi regime by adopting German Time.

'Panama papers' came from e-mail server hack at Mossack Fonseca
Money-shuttling firm lost 2.6 TB of data and didn't even notice
Given the vagaries of defamation law, every outlet reporting on the breach including The Register is constrained to note that there are legitimate reasons for using such entities, including estate planning and inheritance rules, so it's unsound to assume that all Mossack Fonseca customers were breaking the law.
It's also feasible that not every individual or company named was fully aware of what was going on, since the ICIJ notes that banks were behind establishing most of the offshore entities.
